Our mission is to protect California's Central Coasts from the destructive impacts of offshore wind energy development. We seek to educate the public, advocate for informed decision-making, mobilize the community, collaborate with governing officials, and pursue legal action when necessary.
California's Central Coast stands as a beacon of unmatched beauty, diversity, and to those of us fortunate enough to call it home, sheer Perfection!
It is “Old California,” with small, relatively undeveloped towns and villages, an economy that reflects the region’s bounty and beauty, and a laid-back, friendly attitude that comes with living within nature and appreciating our unique environment... things we intend to preserve as a legacy for coming generations.
Our Past…
We fully acknowledge our region's historical role in contributing to the state's energy production…
However, as state and federal agencies turn their attention to our area for new energy projects, we must emphasize that the significance of these proposed developments cannot justify the adverse consequences of offshore wind.
Our Future…
As citizens, it's our duty to defend our environment and local way of life from misleading energy projects presented as "green" solutions.
These projects frequently aim to fulfill arbitrary objectives and serve as veiled attempts at financial gain, overshadowing the real essential focus of genuine environmental conservation.
We, as an Alliance, intend to provide information on proposed projects so the public can make informed decisions and advocate for the best solutions to our energy needs.
